PRIEST, nuovo progetto?

Ma speriamo che finalmente abbia più spazio il nostro scozzese!

Anche se amo il cinema e mi piacciono i film d'autore per una volta dico: chi se ne frega!!!!!
Purchè ci sia Gerry va bene qualsiasi bojata!

Almeno così si rende più visibile, soprattutto per noi!!!!

E dai Gerry siamo tutte con te!

Anch'io andrei a vedere qualsiasi film lui facesse, però mi auguro proprio che non sia una schifezza.

E' bravo, anche se non conosciuto alle 'grandi folle', perchè dovrebbe 'buttarsi via' per un lavoro scarso.
Se lo prenderà (questo lavoro) sicuramente avrà fatto i suoi conti.

E spero che fra BOAW e Priest in mezzo ci sia dell'altro.
Anche per mettere più spazio tra 300 e Priest, due lavori tratti da un fumetto.

Ma sarà di certo magnifico se c'è Gerry... E poi le locandine promettono proprio bene...

Ragazze mi raccomando adesso non partite subito pensando che val bene anche qualsiasi boiata..non credo che Gerard sia un tipo che si piegherebbe a farne..così..tanto per prendere soldi..il ragazzone....ha dimostrato di saper fare delle scelte,spesso non proprio commerciali,e a suo bene che lo catapulterebbero agli onori come molti suoi collega hanno fatto,e fanno....ha delle idee precise per come vuole condurre il suo di operato,e per questo,è apprezzabilissimo.Abbiate fiducia nelle sue scelte..

Oh sì Gerard...IN BOCCA AL...WOLF..WOLF.!!! ... ..ops..me la solita questo è un lavoro per.....Beo il Lupo!!!(ach...mo torno seria..un attimino...)...

'Phantom Of The Opera' star Gerard Butler is in talks to star in the horror film 'Priest', to be directed by 'The Amityville Horror' director Andrew Douglas.

Butler hopes to star as the titular clergyman who battles vampires in what is described as a "post-apocalyptic horror western".

The film, produced by Sony's Screen Gems division, is based on a Tokyopop graphic novel created by Min-Woo Hyung, says The Hollywood Reporter.

A warrior priest, whose niece has been kidnapped by renegade vampires, teams up with a sheriff and a priestess to hunt down the fanged ones.

Newcomer Steven Strait, who recently finished thriller horror 'The Covenant', is in talks to appear as the sheriff.

The screenplay is by Cory Goodman while the producers are headed by veteran horror and, more recently 'Spiderman', director Sam Raimi. His production partners on the film, due to start production in Mexico in October, are Josh Donen, Michael De Luca and Mitchell Peck.

Butler, who also starred in 'Tomb Raider: The Cradle Of Life', next appears in '300', based on a graphic novel by Frank Miller dealing with ancient Greek tribes at war. He recently finished work on kidnapping thriller 'Butterfly On A Wheel', alongside Pierce Brosnan and Maria Bello.

Strait is currently filming '10 000 B.C.' with director Roland Emmerich ('Independence Day', 'The Day After Tomorrow').

'Priest', which already has some similarities to 'Van Helsing', is the second comic-based vampire story to be approved by Sony in recent months.

'30 Days of Night', scheduled to star Josh Hartnett focuses on a husband and wife who work as sheriffs in an isolated town in Alaska. The town is threatened by vampires every year when the sun fails to rise for a whole month during winter.

L'idea che faccia il prete mi intriga molto , ma il contesto del fumetto per niente , speriamo che il film non si limiti ad essere solo una sequenza di scene sensa senso che hanno come filo conduttore lui che fa il vendicatore ispirato o il cacciatore di teste arrabbiato. Anche se indubbiamente lui è un bel vedere non riuscirei ad arrivare alla fine del film. Vedremo

Former Phantom Gerard Butler may be on his way to playing a priest. The actor is currently in negotiations with Sony’s Screen Gems to take the lead role in a movie adaptation of the Tokyopop graphic novel “Priest” by Min-Woo Hyung.

The comic is a vampire western about a priest who disobeys church law to assist a sheriff and priestess in saving the priest’s niece from a band of renegade blood suckers. Butler would play the priest, and Steven Strait (soon to make his debut in Screen Gem’s The Covenant) is in talks to co-star as the sheriff.

The Hollywood Reporter says Cory Goodman is adapting the script and Amityville Horror remake director Andrew Douglas will helm it. They’re scheduled to start shooting October 1 in Mexico.

Butler is currently busy filming another graphic novel adaptation, a big screen version of Frank Miller’s “300”, and he’s just finished wrapping Butterfly on a Wheel with Pierce Brosnan and Maria Bello.

Mmmmm non lo so ...certo sono contenta che si metta a girare un nuovo film.......anche perchè dalle ultime notizie che ho, Beowulf and Grendel sembra che in Italia non arriverà manco in DVD, Butterfly non si sà, 300 forse autunno 2007, Burns e Teresa Raquin paiono stagnanti....un po' di film che escono davvero gli farebbero bene!!!

Però mi sono informata sul fumetto, che non ho mai letto, ho visto molte tavole e...non so ma non mi sembra che abbia il "phisique du role"(scusate il mio scarsissimo francese!)...voglio dire, Ivan ha l'aria di uno vissuto, emaciato, ha lunghi capelli bianchi che non so se si adattano molto al viso di Gerry, non so se sia vecchio anche in senso anagrafico, ma il fatto di essere posseduto da questa entità, sicuramente lo fa sembrare più vecchio di come è.........io non dubito che Gerry sia un grande attore, ma per un ruolo come questo c'avrei visto meglio un tipo come Michael Sheen o Gary Oldman......non linciatemi però!!

Phantom Of The Opera star Gerard Butler is busy negotiating to star in Andrew Douglas’ previously announced horror action flick Priest.

If he signs, he’ll be raising the stakes in the fight against nasty vamps in a story based on Min-Woo Hyung’s graphic novel. It sees a warrior priest go against church law by teaming up with a sheriff (fellow thesp Steven Strait, also negotiating) and a priestess to hunt a band of vampires who kidnapped his niece.

Butler’s been getting into warrior mode a lot lately; he’ll next be seen in Zack Snyder’s Spartan army pic 300 and starred as Beowulf in an indie re-telling of the ancient poem, Beowulf & Grendel.
