Questa mi piace in particolare per la frase che ho sottolineato....
Olympus Has FallenOlympus Has Fallen is a surprisingly good action movie. This may be the new Red Dawn (instead of that crappy 2012 remake). Directed by Antoine Fuqua (Training Day), the movie follows a discharged secret service agent (Gerard Butler) as he tries to save the President (Aaron Eckhart) during a terrorist attack.
What makes this movie so intriguing is that it deals with real tensions between North Korea and The United States. Nuclear war is never a fun time, so the threat of total destruction always makes for an entertaining movie.
The action is almost non-stop from start to finish, so you’re definitely in for a ride. The movie would have been stronger if they didn’t use so much CGI for some of the sequences. But for an R-rating, there is a lot of blood and carnage. It’s always nice to be in a theater where people cheer for someone getting stabbed in the head.
The performances in the movie are good too.
Some critics are saying this is Gerard Butler’s comeback movie after Chasing Mavericks and Playing For Keeps bombed. But those idiots ( ) don’t realize that those movies didn’t do well because the majority of Americans don’t like surfing or soccer. Melissa Leo is the only one who over-acts her role.Overall the movie is fun to watch despite some moments that make you roll your eyes. If you’re looking for a great way to start the summer movie season, then Olympus Has Fallen is the way to go. Now time will tell if people forget about this before White House Down comes out this June.
